Fraises Poem by R. C. Welford

Fraises

Purple bottle or maroon red,
Sits underneath the showerhead,
Star-shaped, inconvenient.
It's liquid later cleared,
No real purpose now,
But reminds of destinations neared,
With a sweet semblance,
Of strawberries and distance
