Free Rein Poem by welkin siskin

Free Rein

Came not the solace of freedom
From the tight ball and chain
In the kingdom
Of my lonely home
When the heart's longed for
The palliative of sweet-voiced choruses.
See not the egalitarian society I,
When my heart longs to fly
In the delight of multi-colored spaces
Where in the bright grinning of faces
Face to the face
Of enough space.
Of green space
Where in desperate corner of heart
Takes a pace
Of far-sighted sort
Of actions for the cosmic will
Where no bitterness in the body of humans dwells.
Feel I not the human's reigned
In the home of no peace and shine,
For no point lies in reign
In the home where joys do not shine
Vividly, purely, openly
And whole heart rhythmically
Dances in the tune of jubilation
Perfectly, whole-heartedly sung free of tension
Through the entire hours of life
