Freezing The Moment Poem by Jamie Crossley

Freezing The Moment

We were sitting on you're rooftop,
Waiting for the stars,
Watching the sun dip lower,
I look into you're eyes,
You saw what I was feeling,
And I know you felt it too.

We wanted time to just stay still,
Then forever there would be you and me,
Why can't we freeze this moment,
Or return to it later on.

Stay together through it all,
So lets store this moment,
Store it safely away,
Keep it as a memory,
For when we leave this place,
So we can return to it in our dreams.
