It is an intriguing question whether English or French is the more exciting language. English is much more the language for the modern world, and more adaptable. French does indeed try, having its Academie Francaise to supervise the language and make rules. English has no equivalent to the Academie, except for its best dictionaries-Oxford ones. Just a few thoughts.
