Friend Poem by Casual Anarchy

Friend

Rating: 5.0

His hair bleached black like the darkness of night
Utterly apart and yet together
And though we harass we never do fight
And our relationship seems to weather,
The storm brought on by our own humanism
And though many have left him now alone
We fail to see the reflect of realism
I still stand by him to deflect thrown stone
I am the innocence, he is the fool
He tells me to stay as I am and yet
I can not help but think that he is cool
To this odd strange man I feel in debt
And waste my days again and again
So I may claim that I am a friend
