Friend
I found a old phone today
I thought id thrown away
And you were in it
Amongst the spare buttons
Curtain rings
And lots of other things
So I fired it up
And your number I did look
I pressed a button
With out looking
And got straight through
To you
It was really nice to talk to you
Albeit in text
But a friend is a friend I guess
So now I think Ill take you out of lost and found
And keep you in my sock drawer
Where I can treasure you for ever more
