Friend (2003) Poem by Tyler Ste

Friend (2003)

Rating: 5.0

Simply sweet,
She touches my heart.
So incredibly wonderful,
I don't know where to start.

Her breathtaking features,
So powerfully astounding.
The image of splendor,
Attention always finding.

But the essence of her being,
The secret best kept.
The thing if man but knew,
Their hearts would be swept.

Is within the outward splendor,
An inward beauty lies,
A radiance of happiness,
A glow that never dies.

She brings exuberant memories,
They never could be bought.
She brings me to a paradise,
A place of peaceful thought.

A daughter of deity,
She knows her lifelong duty.
Despite the arduous trials,
She exemplifies her beauty.

Of all the gifts that I'll receive,
Before I'm called to ascend.
One I'll eternally remember,
The time I was her friend.
