Friends - Poem by Jennifer Woodland

I call you a friend.
After all you put me through,
Why, for what.
Because I want that one look.
You gave it to me once.
I want it again.
But instead you use me,
Treat me like shit.
Torture me with stories,
I still call you a friend.
We have so much in common.
You don't see that.
All you see is an opportunity.
I still call you a friend.
One of these days,
You'll realize what I am to you.
Then I'll be gone.
