The One I Hunger For - Poem by Jennifer Woodland

You're not the one I hunger for
You just got to me first. I
Love you but not like you love me.
Somethings change. I thought
I needed you. I wanted you, but
Now I realize I just need
Someone. I don't have the heart
To tell you. You're not the
One I hunger for, you just got
To me first. I lie awake at night,
You think it's because
Of you, but it's because I
Haven't found the one. The one
That makes my stomach tie in
Knots, the one who takes my breath
Away. You're not the one
I hunger for, you just to go me first.

Now there is someone who knows what they want! The thing is, you never know what you had until it's gone. Believe me! I know this to be a fact. I liked the flow of this honest little poem of yours. Tai (Report)Reply
