Friends Poem by Jeffrey Philip Clegg

Friends

Real friends accept your flaws
True friends detach your clause
That states, 'You are mine! '

Devoted friends know where to
Draw the line
Because, in the real, round
World
We turn each other on and
Set off
For a better place
In time and pace
Each other
for
Real kinship
Not of fools
and
ignore the
Knot of fools...
