Friends Poem by Miran Ishaq

Friends

It felt lonely,
In the midst of hundred souls.
None could beget that joy;
One that fills the heart.
And cures all the hidden scars.

Probably it was their absence
Which made me appallingly insouciant.
The insanity that lacked
Ironically turned me insane.
