In life, one meets both friends and foes
Those who oppose and worsen the lows
Upon whom your anger grows
But just as you're about to break their bone,
Fate bestows.
And sends a friend, to counter, your way.
In life, one meets both foes and friends
Those, on whom you can depend,
And both ways defend.
Even in the lows, you make amends
And a helping hand they always lend
For these you befriend are pure gems
For if it wasn't for both your foes and your friends,
The spice to your life may as well end.
