Friends For Never Poem by sophie mew

Friends For Never

Rating: 3.5

Friends...Ha
What a word
A word I wished
I'd never heard
I used to believe in the stupid thing.
I trusted way to much
now i'm left with a broken soul.

they said 'forgive and forget'
i did that everyday
it took years to learn
that they will do it again

This feeling of anger
This feeling of pain,
In my life no Sun
But always rain.

People you talk to
Yet hardly know
Calling you names
some you never wanna know

Don't let it show
It gets to me
Just write this poem
And I'll be free

Free of the pain
That cuts deep inside
Don't dare mention a thing
Or I might cry
A secret never to be told will be told the next day.
Don't cry infront of parents
Don't cry infront of teachers
Don't cry infront of 'friends'

They say ‘friends for ever' The truth is it's friends for never.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
before it's said this is not attention seeking this is the true feeling i have. i have called so many people best friends sisters brothers and said we are friends for ever! i guess i believed in the stupid crap! i told someone a secret they told the whole entire school. i am bullied everyday and to think the people who bully me i once called a 'friend' hurts! i would forgive all the time and all ways get hurt. in the end it literally shattered me and that hurts.
