Summer Poem by sophie mew

Summer

Rating: 4.0

The sun shines down, I feel like its smiling at me.
My gold rimmed sunglasses reflect the glimmering sea
My sandal-less feet, on the sharp pebbly beach.
The baby blue sky looks amazing, all around me

I find it hard to explain why I don't feel so calm when I look at the sky
Instead I feel lonely and sad and not very right
I'm struggling to cope with the dramas in life

I'm finding it hard to decide, whether i should swim in the sea or lay on the pebbly beach
I'm listing to my music through my dr dre beats whilst having a picnic on the beach
I think i might just admire the sight of the lovely blue sky
As the tide comes in and laughter surrounds me
