I'm sending my hopes to the clouds in the sky
And let the truth mirror in your eyes
And the years have flown by so quickly
Yet finally the time has come
For the truth to be delivered to you from me

I know you're getting older
And my youth is slowly dwindling away
Send the memories of the past slowly by the wind
I know that in you, it was a pleasure being by your side
I know that in you, that you've shown me another direction in my life

I know that one day
You will have gone your own way
As I have and will continue on
I'll have a part of your heart
And you'll have a part of mine
Memories between us will forever be intertwined
We'll forever be friends til the end
