FRIENDSHIP
Friendship is like a precious stone, or a rare diamond ring, only
You can’t buy it with money, trade it, or receive it from a royal king.
Instead it’ll be a person that you will meet, at
School, in shul, in the mall, or even on the street.
Someone you care for that also cares for you,
It’ll be someone you can trust, and tell all your secrets to.
When she sees her friend is doing something wrong,
She would tell her so, with a gentle voice,
In a soft melody and tune as if it’s a song.
When I’m upset at her and she’s upset at me,
We really want to be friends
So we’ll find something on which to agree.
When one is upset and filled with tears,
The other one would appear, and stay near.
When one friend has a joyful moment in her life to share,
She can be sure that her friend will always care and be there.
Friends accept you wherever you are,
Living in the village, or the city, living nearby, or far.
If that friend can support you, she’ll support you 100%.
Whether you are rich, are middle-classed, or are struggling to pay your rent.
There is one simple, yet important principle you mustn’t forget.
It is to never do this mistake that you may one day regret.
Never hurt your friend in a purposely harmful way,
Because you can’t take back anything you say.
No matter how much you plead and cry, no matter how much you try,
Something that is lost in time can never come back.
So be careful, and be sure that for your friend, in respect you never lack.
