You are my friend,
My bestest mate,
What bought us together?
It must have been fate

Maybe you forget,
That I’m always here,
I’ve been here for you
Every single year

I’m sorry that I hurt you
I don’t want to fight
Not at school all day
Or on msn at night

I could never hate you,
You are my friend
Although sometimes
You drive me round the bend

I could never replace you
It wouldn’t be the same
And all our fights
You’re not to blame

I am here for you
Through good and bad
And think of all the good times
That we have had

I guarantee
That there are many more
Lots of happy moments
For us to endure

Just remember
That I do care
And true friends
Are very rare

So thank you for being there
I am always here for you
You are my bestest friend
And believe me that’s true
