Friendship Poem by Gautam Sen

Friendship

You're a discovery of mine
Or I'm one of yours;
That matters very little
We now feel perfectly fine.

I used to take all cares
Not to nip it in the bud,
We knew not to cross any
Limit that's grossly unfair.

No time it took to grow
A strong and firm root below
The soil of our souls,
And it's gained all its flow.

My friend now confides in me,
I too do gleefully so
We exchange our views,
Roam in a charming lee.

Our thoughts have now a hold
Over a bondage well known,
If we say a little now,
Can sense the rest untold.

Oh, the rest of the world!
Just learn a lesson from us,
If you want a real friendship
Glow as shining as Emerald.
