There is something in a friendship,
That comes from Heaven above.
It's found deep inside the heart,
A feeling that's called Love.

It's more than just a handshake,
And more than an embrace.
It's a mutual feeling in our hearts,
That puts a smile on our face.

It's what gives us the desire,
To be with friends both far and near.
And keeps the memories in our hearts,
For they are treasures Love holds dear.

This gift to us was given,
It's a treasure from above.
