Friendships Beyond Time And Space

In time
As the slow seconds
Tick

We can sometimes
Forget

As we wilfully enjoy
Our lives
And all the ensuing
Politics

The family
Or friends
We always take for
Granted

Might be unknowingly
Struggling
Or in a real fix

This year
Break those chains
Of self imposed bondage

Acknowledge
That they maybe
Alone or feeling
Despondent

Remember
To still visit
Those you cherish
With fondness

For all clocks tick
And follow
A strange
Mysterious dance

Remember
To cherish
Them

Whilst
You still have
A chance
