Friendship In A Rose Poem by Rodion Myshkin

Friendship In A Rose

Rating: 5.0

Texting post midnights
MJ brought us close,
Laughing off mad ambitions
Fantasy beings paved our fights,
Liby to love, Dreamgirl to woo
And darling sisters to rebuke them all.

She made me headless, I took her heels,
I set her in time, she clothed me tees,
Our heart-crossed tree a testimony
To friendship beyond truest love.

Today, questions leave us silent
Promises seem as never meant,
Fears loom in our midst
For an eloquent pause persist.

Painful bloodlines
Or, implosive faith signs,
Tied with tighter knots
A step away from final thoughts.

In dreams, you put me in ICU
But reality chanced to see through you,
A kiss forehead came in vision
Yet parting was not in-decision,
Reverie only can hold us ahead
A future sought with no daring dread.

May we live long to see
Gifts sacred by our side,
‘Kids', carry on the legacy
We, with Yo, made our pride.
