Frog Rock Poem by Mary Champion

Frog Rock

Hey c'mon little Froggy, let's get wooing.
You know that's what we really should be doing.
No, never mind your Momma, she doesn't understand
that froggies must go wooing, cos that's the way it's planned.
Hey, roly-poly Froggy, let's get wooing,
if we don't woo we'll go to rack and ruin.
Don't be so scared and mousey, don't spin those crazy yarns,
you know you're only happy, when you are in my arms.

Hey Froggy, let me give you one more kiss,
cos if you do, I'm promising you this:
you'll be the proudest Froggy, there's been before or since-
cos when I kiss you Froggy, you'll turn into a prince.

Hey c'mon little Froggy, let's get wooing.
I know your Momma don't like what we're doing.
But all the froggies round the pond must have their own princess.
It's time for wooing, Froggy, won't you say your answer's. yes?
Hey c'mon little Froggy, let's get wooing,
I know your Momma don't like what we're doing,
but disapproving Momma will leave us both alone
Cos some sweet day she's gonna find a Froggy of her own.
Hey, c'mon little Froggy won't you woo?
cos wooing is the natural thing to do.
Forget your crazy Momma; she's living in the past.
Yeah make a stand, act like a man and be a prince at last.
