Once up-on a time
I hoped for better days
Today I'm living it
It's amazing how hoping for something could bring you peace
Giving up hope is the wrongest thing to do

I remember your pretty and hope giving face
Your image is situated right here
In the center of my heart
I could still hear the sound of your melodious voice
From a distance i could still hear the sound of your laughter
It reminds me how wonderful tomorrow would be

From a distance i see you like you were here
You could be far away from me
But here i hold you in my arms
In my minds eye, you are all i see
In my minds ear, you are the voice i hear
Baby you are always on my mind

From a distance
Loving you feel so right,
but at the same time,
knowing i can't have you right now
keeps me awake at night.
I just want this to be simple
I just want to look into your eyes, hold you in my arms
And tell you how beautiful you are.

From a distance you look wonderfully made by GOD
You are all i wish to be with
And I'm still hoping one day soon
I'll get what I'm wishing for.
