I wish you could see the turmoil that is the scene.
Days spent behind blinds for fear of being so close to beasts.
Lonely nights come to bite my being;
welcoming desperation for the same beasts.
Closure with expression so haunting
that venting sorrows prostrate before a judgemental society.
That moaning in pain for days
for a second worth of degradation.
Those scars and memoirs of feelings
sometimes on arms and always with the soul.
I wish you could feel what I feel
And then, maybe,
you would be compassionate enough to understand.
