From California To Florida Poem by Natasa To

From California To Florida

From California to Florida

We'll leave California with the morning sun,
A brand-new road and a journey begun.
Past desert skies and mountains tall,
We'll chase the horizon, answering its call.

Through Arizona, where the red rocks glow,
Across New Mexico, where wide winds blow.
Texas will stretch like a never-ending sea,
With miles of open road calling to me.

Through Louisiana, where the bayous wind,
Mississippi sunsets painted gold and kind.
Alabama roads will carry us through,
Each mile bringing Florida closer into view.

Then palm trees rise beneath the sky,
Warm ocean breezes drifting by.
From California's coast to Florida's shore,
We'll arrive with stories—and miles to explore.

It's more than a trip from west to east,
It's memories made from the journey, at least.
With every highway, every sunrise and star,
We'll remember the road that carried us this far.
