I remember when we first became friends
We told each other that we will be there till the end
We always made fun of others together
We always hang out no matter how bad the weather
We would eat lunch at the same table
We would watch movies if we had no cable
One day we were at the movies and you sank your head into my neck
And i knew right then that our true feelings were kicking in
I found the perfect time to wrap my arms around you
Then i leaned towards you and you knew i wanted to kiss you
And when we connected, we knew that our love was true
When we saw each other in the hall, we held each others hand
I didn't worry about no one else, and you didn't want no other man
As we got older, we had a lot of fun under the covers
Because we went from Friends To Genuine Lovers
