did he tell you
that he writes
from the bottom of
his heart?
did he not frankly
tell you
that at the bottom
of his heart
there is only
sand and
rotten seaweeds?
that there is no
one there
that the silence there
is haunting
him
that there is no
sun and
stars there
that the starfish
has gobbled another
sea urchin
there
for breakfast
that in there
the only story is
all about
the predator
and the prey
