From The Form To The Formless Poem by EU STRESS

My cosmic journey commenced
With a vehement restlessness,
Such as an astronaut experiences
In a spacecraft after ignition,
Presaging an obscure shape
Eventually attaining a distinct form.

My spiritual vision ushered with this very form:
My Smiling Buddha - emanating radiance;

I saw the Light of the Universe
Converging into this form,
Like a thousand floodlights
Illuminating a stadium.

I embraced this form,
Loved it with focal intensity,
Merged into its soul,
And felt it respiring at my core.

Eventually its contours diffused
Into phenomenal spectral beams,
And then emerged - the Formless.

I saw the Light of the Universe
Diverging from the Formless,
Like a spinning disc of blazing fire.
