From The Inside Looking Out. - Poem by Kayte Stacy

I think of you.
When it rains outside.
About how we're through.
About how hard I tried.
I know we've come to an end.
I know our love is done.
Broken hearts are hard to mend,
It seems your voices won.
They said you didn't need me
They said I wasn't great,
They don't care what others see,
They don't care about fate.
So hand over your innocence,
Go and take their side,
I'll let you lose your balance,
I'll always know I tried.
