From You Poem by Korinn Theriault

From You

From you have I been absent in the spring.
My mind was always full of absence
And it led to the absence of him.
He use to never be absent.
He was always there. Absence didn't define
him. My absent mind killed his emotions.
His emotions became absent. His whole life
depended on me not being absent, but
I was never there. His absent emotions
led to his downfall. After a week, I noticed his absence
and the awareness was frightening. My absence,
caused by your ignorance, caused his absence as well.
Don't you feel proud? You had absence done
on the only one who could love an absent me. A someone.
