Frozen Tear Poem by sean struhar

Frozen Tear

icy winds chill my bones
thick flakes dropp like stones
frosted flesh trace my face
throbbing in pain, preserved in place
watching a body too still to be alive
losing hope, no chance to survive
growing tired as the seconds tick by
drowsiness creeps as I close my eye
forgotten pain, forgotten fear
left to sleep, with a frozen tear
