There's only one thing that fuels my fire...not the want, the need, the lust or the desire
It was always there even way back when...too young and unaware to realize it then

Union of the mind, the soul, and the heart...no longer asking when will it start
Journey of love already did...past days, old self, did nothing but hid
Waiting is the hardest part, Petty said...glad I'm here and not six feet dead

Soon it shall be the end of this road...new road to travel as you once told
Things will change as time goes by...for the better, we shall never ask nor wonder why
It just is, as it's meant to be...nothing but light and love in you and me

That's the fuel that flows within me, you know...my light, your light, together it will do nothing but glow
No more a single lonely dove...flying to new heights with the love

No more a lost and desperate dolphin in the sea...I just believe in you and me
Together we shall move mountains...our tears in the past, made nothing but fountains
Together we shall soar over the hills...no more pain, no need for any pills

Together we shall reach new atmospheres...no more worry, doubt, or even crippling fears
Together we shall visit the mighty sun...feel the heat when we become one
Together we shall see the North Star...love and trust will take us oh so far
Together it's you and me...cause it truly is meant to be
