I’m a happy chappy. A bungle of joy
I laugh all day long, a singer of song
Tis sunshine I carry along in my pocket
Cause I’m not a clown but, a salubrious rocket

I walk on me toes with a spring in me step
I’m a practical joker, hey up, what the heck
Tis funny when I put me fingers int socket
Me hair stands on end and me heart stopet

Ha! Ha! He’s a practical joker, ever so wry
Hey up; if ya didn’t laugh you’d cry
Still telling jokes from is socket in the sky
No ones laughing they’re just asking why?
