Future Never Seen Poem by blue pearl

Future Never Seen

flood of humankind i watch everyday
men and women of different race
strange kin, clan, blood and lineage
stroll around, exhausted and stale
weariness and fatigue
that never seize
back hunched
by the burden of dreams
illusions and desires are everywhere
eyes drained, see nowhere
a brutal dream crushes the soul
if not executed until completes the goal
fragile hopes, lighter than mist
hold up our goals and our wish
i gazed around can identify the bruised soul
roam in all directions, on all sides
with wrecked destinations in their eyes
witnessed the people with dreams squeezed out
watch them opt, with no assist or support
future is a venue we know nothing about
then why call one unfortunate or unlucky
or nothing satisfactory
when we cannot even grasp the time we waste
we cannot even possess
this hour or this instant
then why regret, mourn or
grief for something we have never seen.
