Games - Poem by Cami Lindsey

He played with her heart,
Like it was a toy
He made her jealous
Her heart it began to destroy

She asked if he loved her
He played with her mind
He lied on purpose
To her feelings he was blind

Secretly she cried
Alone all the time
Her heart was split open
He would find out sometime

She walked slowly away
Games were still being played
He could never see her pain
Her feelings never began to fade

Behind closed doors
She could always find tears
As she hurt herself
Away melted her fears

One day he went too far
She was tired of the loneliness
She took her own life,
And breathed her last breath
