I never played games as a child.
I'm not sure why but I don't think I ever smiled.
My mother was kind
And my father just fine.
My sisters sweet
My brother loved to compete.
I never played games as a child.
I'm not sure why but I couldn't be wild.
My feet stayed clean
My physique quite lean,
My teeth thoroughly brushed
And my voice always hushed.
I never played games as a child.
I'm not sure why, but now I want to cry.
Over a childhood that I,
Have spent alone and sad
and all the games I could have had
