Gbo Gba Gbo
This were the sound of terror
That pounds my heart awake
Like a pestle pounds the mortar
Pounding tirelessly my already hard soft heart
And the songs of tears that follows
Were like the lullaby that lulls a baby
The cries lull me too into a forced sleep
With nightmares of anguish and pain
The alarm woke me up that morning
With its usual sound of GBA GBO GBO
But the cries didn't follow as usual
All I could hear was muffled whispers
And a deep breathe..............
I saw the tormentor storm out in panic
Shouting 'son get me the car key'
Yes the killer is my father
And the victim, my mother............
