Gemstones Of Devotion Poem by Enchanting Owl

Gemstones Of Devotion

Rating: 5.0

For the longest beat of this emerald heart,
As a tale as old as time, it takes more than a bloodstone to start.
Wanting to give the unpolished diamonds to the worthy one,
To keep the chrysolite of glee sparkled and to come undone.

The amber of skepticism is convincing.
Afraid for the unreciprocated onyx; it is mincing.
Never having been known and embraced by this moonstone beaut,
Needed the boost from the aquamarine to put gloom on mute.

Wishing to have enough agate to live more,
To put the opal of thoughts in the equation and evermore.
Some judged and deemed that what one sought was the sardonyx, but no!
It's a feeling as pure as the turquoise and want it to grow.

One day, hoping and praying that this opal heart
Would spread and maintain its entirety like jade; a greatest art.
Dreaming and aiming to ground the ruby of soul and spirit,
'Cause the heart is the ace of all the topaz, it has merit.

Fighting to attain love and alexandrine,
It's precious as much as the pearl, enduring like salamandrine.
Zircon eyes praised and worshipped the winners, victors, and triumphants.
Garnet truth would echo the song of victory; it's a hunt.

The prize of these battles is the amethyst.
It gives food to the inner beryl self, to become pacifist.
A sapphire of enlightenment will fuel the grand encounter,
Turn the lapis lazuli of longing to cold December.

At the end, the apatite of acceptance
Will be the ample compass as the tourmaline sets as guidance.
As the peridot of prayers provides oath and security,
The citrine of fortune gives equipoise; that's the unity.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As we find love, we also find how arduous, taxing,   stressful, great, and precious it is. Meeting new people, falling in love, breaking hearts, experiencing longing, and deciding to move on are just different stages of showing how complex love is. The best way to express it is by using gemstones, which are as precious as the latter and can be a perfect interpreter of love.
