Generation Poem by Thomas Becker

Generation

Is mankind really just an adaptation,
or is he just an insane infestation.
Even from the beginning of whats called time,
mutation has pulled mankind from the slime.
It could be just because of environment,
but some think it lack of enlightenment.
Its became easy to deal pain to others,
as we forget that where all brothers.
First it was with just sticks and stones,
that became Nukes and little drones.
Science that has become death at its best,
it is the time we give that game a rest.
How could you ever look at this humanity,
and not wonder that is not about insanity.
These are the days that some have predicted,
but I believe it all has been directed.
The streets need not be filled with death,
this would never take freedoms breath.
When Evil can manifests in so many ways,
mankind should stand watch on the days.
We must first remember mankind's obligation,
and that has to be the next generation.
