Generation Poem by Mark Anthony Mendoza

Generation

Every yeasrs that pass new things came up
With all the material things around us today
Who would be lonely, who would be bored
With one button you can do almost anything

New technology always flashes the news each day
Now the generation's forgot the old stuff we used to do
Where are the wooden toy cars? Where are the kids now?
Too much information and now we are forgetting reality

Where are the sound of silence? the film we loved
The old fashion way of loving and courting?
All we ask for now is satisfaction and amusement
Where is the passion in love, where are the poems?
