Generations - Poem by Cheyenne Ashley

As the generation grows one day older
I feel the world get slowly colder
The pain in our eyes
All the broken lies
The fire in our hearts just smolders

As the generation gets prepared for war
Don't know what they are fighting for
All the lifeless hearts
Lives fall apart
We're not for God anymore

As my generation quickly fades away
I don't know what to say
All the sinners sigh
Inside I cry
I will show them to God someway
