Genesis 1971 - Poem by James Tipp

What have you done little man
Look around you,
The mess you have made.
The state this planet is in.
You have elevated yourself
Into the position of God,
Saying for life or death.
You have declared God is dead
Stupid people, what have you
Done with your freedom?
You have murdered and raped,
Starved each other,
Nations have been at war.
We have made extinct
Thousands upon thousands of animals
But listen this is really great
Your so good at it,
You’ve done it
Since man can remember.
Your genius for learning
Is unsurpassed.
Some have advanced materially
Yet retarded spiritually
So left a vacuum
That can only be filled
By God. but I forget
God is dead.
Stupid people,
When did ever make life
In a vacuum.?
When did you last
Make something from nothing?
You cannot not.
O stupid people you’re so
Incomplete, insufficient
Nothing more than in the beginning
God made you from dust
So you remain the same.
