Genesis 31: 49 Poem by Yoyama Magwashu

Genesis 31: 49

May the Lord keep watch between you and me, when we are away from each other.
I wanna love you in front of the people that didn't, just so they can see how much you glow when you're treated right.
Your happiness is the sexiest thing you wear, it fits you perfectly, it's breathtaking, it's original and only you could wear it so well.
I love you in a way that would worry a therapist and thrill a poet. I long for our souls to be so deep intertwined, that death himself would weep when faced with the thought of separating us.
You wear no crown, yet my soul kneels. Your love is the kingdom I belong to.
If thoughts of you became stars, the heavens would blush, wondering how one heart could hold such a constellation. I think of you so often that the sky could never keep up my heart has already built a galaxy in your name.
