Genesis



In the silence of my flesh
the clay roared
gave me frame
gave me form
gave me name
called me Earthman. The sea wombless mother
lauded my first unsteady steps
the sky sexless father
listened to my gibberish elocutions
and received me under its dome. Then searching for a playpal
(in the serenity of my home
in the tumult of marketplace
bound by the force of gravity)
I met me
intimate articulate
congenial controversial
