Gentle Poem by Essah Vita

Gentle

Timeless grail, I heard it

I heard it sung upon a summers day

Such was it in endless emanations

Long signed and sealed ancient futures

And in time...it surpassed all memories

It never gave up and into the brave it sailed

On upturned vessels of higher distinction it glided

Until it was all I saw...all I saw...

And then into you

For in you I was and am not at all sure until I was

For you I descended and precious

To me so precious ascended

The Lily of my heart was mended

It broke only to be rendered tender

The essence of which resonates

Oh for the love of you duplicates

And astounds as it flows both too and fro

See it, hear it and feel it is so

The aftermath you know

Your the reason

You are the reason

And into the aftermath of the morning

Don't look behind

Love me gentle

Love me gentle

In the mountain of the Devine.
