Gentle Fragrance Poem by ashok jadhav

Gentle Fragrance

A gentle fragrance moves without a sound,
Unseen, yet felt where memory takes its breath;
It drifts through rooms no footsteps ever found,
And softens grief without confronting death.
It does not claim attention or demand,
Nor linger long where loud impressions stay;
Its power lies in how it lightly lands,
Then teaches hearts what quiet things can say.
Long after flowers fade from mortal sight,
Their fragrance keeps the promise form could not;
A trace of beauty, delicate yet bright,
That time itself can neither steal nor blot.
So may our lives, when shape and voice depart,
Leave gentle fragrance in the waiting heart.
