Get Out Poem by Cath Park

Get Out

Get out of my phone, get out of my ears
Get out of my face, I'm mad can't you hear?
Two months and more days and you're still in my face
Get out get out and give me some space
We could have been friends, we could have been fine
But you can't let it go, you crossed the line
I don't know if we can still be friends
To be honest you drive me round the bend
So take a hint, leave me alone
Get out of my space and my face and my phone

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
After a break up it is always hard to get over it, but when I broke up with this guy he mourned me like I was dead and couldn't get over it. I still have issues with him clinging to me, and this poem was written when I was feeling particularly angry about it.
