Get The Hell Out Of There Poem by Alistair Graham

Get The Hell Out Of There

Beyond the windscreen
sun-filled hills
border yellow fields
beneath a boundless
unrestrainable
glassy sky

In the rear-view mirror
dense clouds gather
above gloomy streets;
sectarianism's local,
persistent,
murky prison

Press hard
on the pedal,
get the hell
out of there
