Get Up Again Poem by Jatie Apple

Get Up Again

I get up at 6: 30
to get ready for school.
The clock read 7: 45.
Then everyone piled in the car.
I look out my window
and heavy fog is everywhere.
And the skies are gray.
Finally we are there.
I return to a desk,
and listen to the teacher
talk for 8 hours.
When time was up,
the bell rang and kids
ran out the door.
Each kid is pushing to get
through 1door out of the 2.
I wait quietly behind everyone
then go through.
My mom is waiting outside
of the school.
We leave and when I arrive home
I open my backpack to do more work.
The same thing happened
the next morning.
