Getting Played Poem by Joseph Caraveo

Getting Played

So tell me this Baby doll
You think your a pro but really a child
All dressed up Innocent and pure
A wolf in satin, leather and pearls
Don't think I dont notice
I'm country, not dumb
Hide and seek, emotional tag
Your game is weak, find a new drag
I see thru you like a plastic dress
Beauty skin deep the inside a wreck
Have I hit a nerve
Yes I'm talking to you
Come on playgirl do I look the fool
Who's playing who, your in prison at home
You'll awaken one day, still alone
Stack them chips you'll need them one day
Remember them words, Mommy would say
The teacher was wise, at a foolish game
Careful baby girl.....it might be you getting played
